Coronovirus Response (COVID-19) from Lake Oswego Learning Center
Our deepest sympathies go out to individuals and families who have been adversely affected by COVID-19. We, as team members and learners, at the LOLC pledge to do our part in the prevention and spread of this terrible illness. These measures include but are not limited to:
- Temperature checks upon each class day.
- Classroom cohorts of less than ten people,
- Masks based on child’s age and individual appropriateness
- Socially distanced classroom space.
- Plexiglass partitions between desks
- Air purifier
- Separate entrances for classes
- Each class will be provided their own sink within the building for frequent handwashing
- Outdoor spaces to be used whenever possible for recesses (no shared equipment). Small groups allowed in the gym when weather is inclement
- Frequent sanitizing of all used spaces, especially including bathrooms
As invested care-givers of your child, safety remains a top priority. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you feel there is something additional we could implement to better serve your child. We value the partnership between educators and families. Looking forward to another great year!
